Who we are

Hi, I’m Krystal Gurulé, a Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. I specialize in supporting adults navigating substance use, trauma, complex PTSD, and other life challenges, offering a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences safely and freely.

I’m deeply passionate about mental health and helping individuals on their journey toward recovery, healing, and personal growth. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding yourself and your patterns. My goal is to create an environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to make lasting changes in your life.

In our work together, I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to your unique needs. I draw from IFS/Parts Work, EMDR therapy, somatic-informed approaches, mindfulness practices, psychodynamic, and person-centered techniques. This combination allows us to address both past experiences and present challenges while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded, aware, and resilient.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Behavioral Health with an emphasis in Addiction Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a focus on Trauma Studies, both from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time in nature, especially in the mountains, painting, studying Buddhism, reading thrillers, and watching documentaries. These passions help me stay grounded and inspire my approach to healing and personal growth.

You don’t have to face these challenges alone. I’m here to support you as you discover new ways to cope, heal, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.
