Who we are

Hi, I’m Krystal Gurulé, a Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. I specialize in working with adults and teens who are navigating addiction, trauma, PTSD, and other life challenges, offering a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences freely.

My passion lies in mental health and helping individuals on their journey toward recovery and personal growth. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding yourself and your patterns. My goal is to create an environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to make lasting changes.

In our work together, I use an integrative approach tailored to your unique needs. I draw from psychodynamic and person-centered techniques, EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness practices, and an IFS-informed perspective. This blend of modalities allows us to address both past experiences and present challenges, while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded, aware, and resilient.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Behavioral Health with an emphasis in Addiction Counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a focus on Trauma Studies, both from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Outside of my work, I love spending time in nature—especially in the mountains—with my family. I also enjoy painting, studying Buddhism, reading thriller books, and watching documentaries. These interests help me stay grounded and inspire my approach to healing and personal growth.

You don’t have to face these challenges alone. I’m here to support you as you discover new ways to cope, heal, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.
